I am 17 years old turning 18.
I just finished high school and went full-time in my business in December.
The results i achieve in my business were reasonable.
I started network marketing when i was 16.
Today I still have not achieved success in this industry yet.
But I have learned a lot in this past year and a half. and that is quite life transforming.
I would recommend those who wants to get business education to join a network marketing company just as what RK recommended.
For me my journey has been bitter sweet. I approached many adults to join in my business opportunity but many look and me and tell me,
" why do you need to do this at such a young age? anyone timing a clock against you? Go back and study? you need a degree first! it is not your time! no one would trust you! you have no credibility!
you are too young! and it goes on and on"
one of the biggest thing i had learnt is to perservere and take away our focus on the things that we don' t want to the things and results that we do want. by doing that, the things that we do not want, will fall apart.
Today, I am still searching for a life' s purpose. However, I believe that God has a purpose for me to be a businessman. I am aligning myself with God' s purpose to do business for His glory. And will contribute my energy, status, power, money to the kingdom of Jesus' glory!
One thing I would to all business/sales people is this, if you have doubts about your business, doubt your opportunity, doubt your services, doubt your product, doubt your marketing plan, doubt your team, doubt your partners, doubt the culture, doubt the system, doubt the company, etc.
I had wasted a lot of time because i did this, it paralyzed me. I could not present my opportunity effectively and with a sincere heart because i had too many doubts in my mind.
If ever, you want to succeed in I could only say Network marketing but this should be similar to other businesses or jobs as well since they r principles, YOU have to BURN every DOUBT you have as stated above. HAVE UNSHAKABLE FAITH towards what you are doing and find a purpose for helping people with what you have to offer. Offer it with a heart of love and thanksgiving.
With that, I would like to declare to all of you that I would make a million in 3 years/36 months and the time starts from 1st Jan 2007. And with that, I will be back with a testimony in 1st Jan 2010 and my success will i give full credit to the glory and strength of the Lord God Almighty!

I love your enthusiam Jeffrey.
I am 18 and Im labouring right now just to get my family by while we emigrate to the states. Im trying to get out of the rat race as well and get a passive income. I've also been asking God to show me what my purpose is. I believe its possible to glorify God in the business arena.
I would love to know how you get on.
What does network marketing entail and how are you finding it?

I'm 16 as well, and I'm currently going into network marketing. I took a job in sales (just as robert kiyosaki did) selling exterior remodeling products door to door so that I could gain some valuable real-life sales experience. I'd have to say it's one of the best decisons I've made so far in my life. Like rich dad said, the most important skill in business is the ability to sell. I now know that I'm capable of being a highly successful network marketer. Screw the one-time comissions I'm getting, I'm ready to turn those one-timers into PASSIVE income via network marketing.

Congratz. I am in the same position at you. I am 18 yrs old and am seeing ALOT of good results in network marketing. Not quite 'there' yet but I can see it happening in the next yr or so. Good luck to you. Hope your success continues

You are a very interesting youngman. It took me 2 years working as a missionary in Brazil to understand that bit about doubt and faith. Faith and doubt cannot exist in the same person at the same time.

Great stuff ! I'm 25 and didnt know a lot of this until about a year ago but i Have educated myself about stock ownership and now learning about real estate. There is a proverb that says a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step imho my journey is only begining.
