My name is John Dew and I just got out of the Marine Corps in 07' after 7 yrs of service. Now it is time to make things happen on the civilian side ;-) I'm from Ann Arbor Mich originaly but decided to move to Houston Texas after getting out. I'm an Entreprenuer at heart and am involved in different ventures but my focus of being here is to create amazing relationships with all the success and talent thriving inside this network. I was just introduced to this page but I have read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", so Im excited to start the journey of sharing ideals and knowledge with each other and in turn helping each and everyone of us reach the goals that wake us up every morning!!

Howdy. I see that there haven't been any introductions for a while. Allow me to start introductions up again with my own.
Not realizing it apparently I have had a site membership for a while now, perhaps created when I bought a copy of "Cashflow".
I have been a real estate investor and a stock market investor for a long time now. I am now changing my investment strategy due to the current suspicious rally in the middle of a deep recession. I do not think that the markets are entirely "transparent", and therefor, if I do not know what the real rules are, I do not think that I can formulate an effective strategy. I am certainly not going to buy in with stratospheric real P/E ratios.
So, I am mostly out of the market, and into uncharted territory. I am interested in acquiring more/different real estate, precisely because the bear market in real estate is creating opportunities for bargain elements and cash flow. Unfortunately, I keep running into brick walls as I try to figure out how to implement my strategy. I'll elaborate under a more appropriate forum.
I am finding it harder to make money, either from income or capital gains, in this market and economic situation than it was during the great bull (bubble, truth be told) markets...well, fancy that. I hope that we can help each other formulate effective strategies during hard economic times. Great prosperity to all of you.
