Question regarding posts to Self Promotion section

To Whom It May Concern,
About a week and a half ago, I wrote and tried to post 2 messages as new topics to the Self Promotion section of the Forum. After writing each message and clicking the post button, a pop up message appeared and disappeared quickly. I saw it long enough to read that the new post will be reviewed by the moderators. However, neither topic has been posted to date, and I have received no response from the moderator as to whether there was any problem with the topics I tried to post. Does anyone know whether the Self Promotion section is active or whether it has been closed?
