Hi! I am a novice Real Estate investor and entrepreuer. In January I closed on a single family rental in a suburb of Cleveland, OH and within 10 days will have completed the rennovations and deferred maintenance and have it leased. What excites me about this is that we own it free-and-clear and it will be cash-flow positive as soon as we get a tenant into it. It is in a great community surrounded by up-scale communities, with lots of access to public transportation, schools/colleges/universities, shopping (including groceries) and well maintained properties.

Here's what I still have to learn: how to leverage as I invest; how to raise capital/find other investors; put my local team together faster--while maintaining the high quality of team members that we have achieved to date; how to manage my resources better (retire unnecessary, unsecured, unproductive debt, turn more of my income into low-tax income, how to be a real I-quadrant participant.

Here's what really excites me: providing housing for hard working people who can't afford to own a home; providing employment for hard working, enthusiastic people who don't want to be business owners or investors; giving back to my community, state, country and world with my tithe of time, talent and treasure. So I invest in rental Real Estate, my wife and I are building her private educational services business (to help kids with learning differences to succeed in life), I sit on the Board of Trustees of the Slingerland Institute for Literacy (to help make this non-profit successful financially as they train teachers to help kids with learning differences, and my wife and I are active in our church as church school teachers, lay ministry, and other leadership responsibility.

I want to retire from my present job within 5 years and devote the rest of my life to the things listed above. I have invested in Rich Dad Coaching, many books and CDs, and devoted myself to the study and use of all I learn---whether error-prone, or error-free.

I love music, poetry, cooking, and learning new things.

Hi Everyone,
I'm a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor in Las Vegas. While I love what I do, I've never wanted to be a slave to the W2 lifestyle.

I read Rich Dad Poor Dad (picked it up at a thrift store!) while I was I was out of a job and only had a couple hundred dollars in the bank. Suddenly everything made sense. So I used every bit of money I had, and I brought one of my business ideas to life. Within a month it was building itself up and providing me income.

I look forward to meeting people here with great knowledge and even greater visions. I want to use what I've learned from Rich Dad Poor Dad to do huge things.

Hello Everyone,

I'm a returning member of the Rich Dad community. I originally found RD a few years ago, and the initial books and this forum helped me re-orient my thinking, and put me on a much stronger financial footing.

I've recently decide that re-joining the community here would help me take my financial life to the next level, via learning more advanced strategies and helping to pass on the things that have helped me.

It's good to be here!

Warm Regards,
Kevin

Hello my friends,

Real quick, I am brand new to forums. In fact I just found out about 2 days ago that these existed. From what I have learned so far this is a great place to develop good relationships with a wide range of people who are interested in various things. I myself am a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki. i have not heard a lot from him but what i have heard is quite inspiring to say the least. I am glad to be here and look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you and exchanging thoughts and feelings about various things. Until next time GOD Bless!

Hi everyone. I just joined the forums and am familiarizing myself with the topics. I just left a full time job in Property Management. My future goal is to purchase some real estate and turn it into a place where people can live that want to take training on transforming their lives - everything from finances to personal development and spiritual health. In the meantime I am determined to learn new strategies to increase my income.Thumb up

Hello,
I am currently in the Marine Corps and deployed. Upon return, a couple fellow Marines and I plan to open a Gym and self defense center. I am currently trying to outline the business model and figure out the numbers to make this plan viable. We're intent on opening up shop in the upper Midwest area, someplace near Kansas City.
What I hope to gain from Rich Dad is some extra motivation and a few mantra's to settle my fears of the unknown, and hopefully gain some insights into business and a few connections along the way.

Hello, New to insiders !

i'm a truck driver of 7 years. a lot of the ideas in this Rich Dad education i have been exposed to or they have crossed my mind over the years, but acting on them and getting the full explanation of how money works has always been a struggle. finding someone with the results you want is tough in this world. it's even harder to find one that will take the time to coach you in a plan to get there yourself. this is amazing to be a part of the Rich Dad community !

Hi
I am new to this site. It is a nice layout too. Only my complaint for whole Rich Dad site along insider site/others too--there is NO Captions for Deaf to read especially blogs, video,E-Games etc. That area Needs to be done ASAP to grow/attract new customers/business. Yes I am DEAF Fan of Rich Dad site. I am located in Great Lakes area.
