Back when I first started blogging. All I could manage was 3-4 blog posts per month. Trying to do more than 6 posts/month was very difficult for me.
Over time I have gotten used to creating content and now consistently create 4 blog posts per month, 4 video blogs/month, 1 training video/month, 1 ezine article/month. My business partner Ray Higdon writes literally every single day. I have still yet to hit that point, but I am getting there.
Just don't be a yo yo marketer. Don't create 30 blog posts in one month, and quit. Instead push 20% past your comfort zone, and continue until that becomes your new comfort zone. Then push yourself 20% more past that.
Speaking of a team with various skill sets. One of the things that Michael Port writes in his book "Book Yourself Solid" is to create an Advisory Board on your blog/website. Come up with the top 5 marketers you have a personal connection with and add them, along with their bios, and area of expertise to your blog. This will improve your credibility as a marketing professional tremendously. Ironically, this is something most marketers don't have on their blogs. I am working on mine asap. It is an awesome idea.
