RE: Rich dad lessons are useful anywhere
Hello people, I want to share some key points that I have learnt after reading some books published by Robert Kiyosaki. If you people out their really are struggling in the financial world then do not spend a single penny more on things that you truly want, only spend on things that you really need for example a really needy object would be a rich dad book since this turns out to give you the biggest R.O.I. You want to know why I am saying this. Then read on. One day it was about 8.30 at night and I was very thirsty even though I had a full bottle of water in my hand. However, what I was looking at was a 7-Eleven shop. My eyes were directly pointing to my favorite drink but as soon as I remembered that I should always buy what I need I managed to make a compromise. Later I came across a drink machine and again the temptation of buying a soft drink rose. This time I could not resist and finally reached for my wallet, however as soon as I looked up again this person had already inserted coins to buy his drink. I moved on and finally said to my self “I think someone or something is stopping me to make a wrong decision” which was great. From then on, it was easy for me to avoid things that I wanted. I am telling this story because the earlier you get in habit of doing this the easier it will be for you to make decisions. For example, I have a phone that I’ve used for more than 6 months and suddenly I see a new model……what do I do? Stick to my old phone instead of wasting extra money to buy another doodad. (I think that is a great decision) A car would be a similar situation because that is also another doodad. Therefore, to sum it up all I think purchasing another doodad that you already have such as a phone or a car will definitely not improve your spending habits. As a teenager, I recommend all teenagers to read the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad for Teens” to get useful financial knowledge. Thank you.

To answer the above question, to me, I found the books similar. The only different things I noticed that differed between the two was just the writing style basically. It has the exact same messages as in the original Rich Dad, Poor Dad book, but nothing really to great to separate the two books from each other. To sum it up: If you already have the original Rich Dad, Poor Dad book, it doesn' t make that much sense to buy the Teen version... instead, purchase another Robert Kiyosaki book like the sequel Cashflow Quadrant. Hope I answered your question.
