RE:getting a financial education
I find it interested that you are constantly saying 'even MBA's and such do not receive a good financial education at university'. That the education available is full of myths and lies, propaganda. And then you say to go out and get an education! From Suze Orman? From that university that failed to teach MBA's? From seminars that tell you to invest for the long term? Come on. How can you tell before hand whether the information is for B and I or for E and S? I can't waste my money of books, or seminars, or classes that turn out to be more of the same old propaganda.

Then you've got a bit of a challenge.  Education is nothing without wisdom - all you'll become is an educated fool.

So borrow books from the library.  You don't need to go to seminars in order to get on.  The first thing i'd do is get a grip on your finances.  there is a download in the tools section so learn how to do this.  Then do it again and look at the differences and ask 'why?'  that's the experience bit and it is vital to success.

Second thing is, now you've worked out what you've got, is to figure out where you want to go.  When you've done that, figure out how.

And that's about it!

Keep well
