"The most important thing in life is to stop saying 'I wish' and start saying 'I will.' Consider nothing impossible, then treat possibilities as probabilities." --David Copperfield
Close your eyes. Imagine your ideal future.
Now ask yourself: Do you consider this a dream, distant and out of reach, or as a real destination that you're sure to reach?
In other words, do you think to yourself, "yeah right, like that'll ever happen!"? Or do you think, "it's just a matter of time!"?
Is your ideal future an "I wish" or an "I will"?
If you think your dreams are truly possible then you'll probably achieve them.
If your dreams are just an "I wish" in your mind, then take some time out today to figure out why that is. What is it that is holding you back? What hurdles stand in your way? List them out in writing.
Next, brainstorm solutions to those obstacles. If you can't think of solutions, ask other people for ideas. (But make sure you only share your dreams and concerns with people who will truly support you, not with people who will tell you why it can't be done.)
If you can start thinking of your dreams as "I will," and take action to move you towards your goals, then it's just a matter of time before your dreams come true.
