The world hangs on every word uttered by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. He has the power to send markets up or send the world economy crashing down.
As most of you know, the story is that Mr. Bernanke got his nickname, “Helicopter Ben,” when, asked how he would save the world economy, he said he’d toss money from helicopters. There is some dispute as to the accuracy of that story.
